L'équipe Jockers-Dam est composée d'environ 15 collaborateurs. www.institutcochin.frMISSION PRINCIPALE- L 'ingénieur participera à un projet de recherche financé axé sur de nouveaux régulateurs dans l'obésité et le diabèteACTIVITÉS PRINCIPALES - Définir l'ensemble cohérent de techniques de la biologie nécessaires à la réalisation expérimentale du projet- Traiter les données (analyser, interpréter et valider les résultats)SPÉCIFICITÉ(S) ET ENVIRONNEMENT DU POSTE - L'équipe est internationale et composée de 20 membres (chercheurs permanents, ingénieurs, post-doctorants, doctorants et étudiants de Master 2). The team Jockers-Dam is composed of around 15 collaborators. www.institutcochin.fr (http://www.institutcochin.fr)_ACTIVITIES MAIN_- The engineer will be participating in a funded research project focused on a new regulator in obesity and diabetes.__- Main techniques to be performed: cell culture, western blot, RT-qPCR, cell signaling, confocal microscopy, histology __- Define the coherent set of biological techniques required for the experimental execution of the project __- Process the data (analyze, interpret, and validate the results) __- Main techniques to be performe : cell culture, western blot, RT-qPCR, cell signaling, confocal microscopy, histology_JOB SPECIFICATION(S) AND ENVIRONMENT_- The team is international and composed of 20 members (permanent researchers, Enginieers, postdoctoral fellows, PhD students and M2 students)_EXPERTISE_- Expertise in cell biology, mammalian cell culture, physiology_KNOW-HOW_- Experience in analysis of gene expression by RT-qPCR, detection of protein by western-blot and by immunofluorescence.__-Experience in microscopy imaging (confocal)__-Experience in basic mouse experimentation is not required but would be appreciated -Experience in primary culture of adipocytes would be appreciated_ABILITY_- Analytical reasoning__-Good organization__-Collaboration with other laboratory members_EXPERIENCE(S) REQUIRED_- 1 year of experience in research lab would be appreciated_DIPLOMA LEVEL AND TRAINING_Master 2, Engineer Diploma in biological sciences_
